Kingswood 2013

Year 5

66 of our Y5 children travelled to Colomeny in Wales for a week full of action and adventure.

This was the first time many of the children had been away from home for a full week.

All of the children tried a wealth of activites from abseiling to caving.

Have a look at some of the photos below.

I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the teachers and staff involved in the Kingswood Trip.

Thank you for the time you have given (and so much of it personal time) to ensure that all our children have had the best time and that parents were kept updated and reassured.

It has been a very long week as many of us have not been away from our children for so long, but thank you so much for taking the time to ring us midweek to reassure us that all was OK.

It has not gone unrecognised that staff have missed time with their own families to ensure that our children have had such a great time and sincere thanks to you all for that!

Mia has entertained us so much with all the fun stories of her adventures of Kingswood and has come home a much more independent and confident young lady which is something that she cannot learn from a textbook or classroom environment but from real life experience.

I hope you have all recovered and caught up on your sleep!

Very best wishes.

Elise Squires
