Year 3

Next week the children in Y3 will be completing their Christmas card designs. Please look out for their work coming home at the end of the week. If you would like to order any of your child’s work please bring back the form attached to their work.

In maths our focus will shift to multiplication. We will be revising our 2, 5 and 10 times tables along with learning how to count in steps of 3 and 4. By the end of the week the children will be solving problems and using written methods for more complex multiplication questions.

Also look out for our recounts of our visit to The Yorkshire Wildlife Park. The children will be putting their handwriting practice to good use in order to produce a final presented piece.

Year 4

In the final week of this half term Year 4 will, in mathematics be focusing on multiplication and division, especially by 10, 100 and 1000. In SFA each group will be either starting their new book or finishing the writing project.
