Welcome

A Message from the Headteacher

As headteacher, I am incredibly honoured to welcome you to our website – the proud home of our children’s outstanding achievements, of which I am very excited to share with each and every one of you.

Bramley Sunnyside Junior School prides ourselves on: Learning Today for a Brighter Tomorrow: Our Leaders of the Future and our talented team of staff are all committed to striving and achieving the very best for all our children.

Yet all this is not possible without the excellent relationships we have with our families and friends. We are extremely fortunate to be situated in such a warm and welcoming parish and I feel exceptionally privileged to be able to build on our school’s strengths, as well as continuing our school’s exciting journey of success.

We are extremely passionate about placing all our children at the heart of everything we do – setting the highest expectations and creating exciting and unforgettable learning experiences, from first-hand visits of mummification, to time travelling through space, to playing Quidditch at Warner Brothers’ Studios! It is the awe and wonder that creates a tiny spark of magic, capturing our children’s imaginations to thrive and achieve their own personal bests.

We pride ourselves on valuing everyone, nurturing individual talents to shine, both academically and socially, in order to develop skills for life.

As a parent myself, I appreciate the importance of developing a successful relationship, working in close partnership to enable all of our children to flourish and be happy, confident and responsible citizens of the future.

I am very much looking forward to welcoming all of our children and families back in September, especially our new Year 3s, as well as continuing our successful collaboration for a brighter tomorrow.

Very best wishes,

Mrs Laura Robson
